Interim Marketing Director – Hybrid / Remote UK Midlands

This established and rapidly scaling SaaS firm has built an enviable and leading position in the UK market where their solution is used extensively across multiple areas of the public sector for Social Media Management.

A unique opportunity now exists for a Marketing Manager / Director to take a 12 month interim contract to cover maternity leave.

Ideal candidates will be able to travel to the Midlands once a week for leadership meetings and have a SaaS background. Exposure to MarTech, Social or CX solutions would be helpful but not pre requisite.

• Take over and lead a well run and functioning marketing department
• Lead a team of 5 in the marketing team and assume a leadership role within the business
• Remain hands on within the business with weekly leadership meetings and represent the marketing function accordingly
• Work closely with the current leadership team that includes Head of Sales and  Managing Director as well as working across the other business functions as required
• Ideally work with and hand over from the the current Marketing Manager
• Capitalise on extensive new business campaigns with a focus on cross sell and upsell  opportunities
• Lead effective budget management and ROI reporting
• Oversee brand development through the effective use of PR, AR, and customer advocates as well as lead PR Agency relationship
• Contribute to the overall business strategy 

   

• Proven experience as a Marketing leader in the SaaS industry
• Any experience of working previously in an interim role is useful
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing marketing strategies
• Hands-on experience with digital marketing, content creation, and campaign management
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work from the offices based in the Midlands for one day a week
